Maine Coon cats have a very distinct and almost wild appearance. But don't let the wild appearance scare you off, they are truly gentle giants. Maine Coons are an easy going breed with a large size. Our Maine Coon kittens have been raised from birth as part of our loving family. Zen Cattery provides lifelong support and encourages all of our Maine Coon kitten's families to stay in touch with us. Our cats and kittens are our family members! While we are located in Idaho, we will ship anywhere in the continental United States and have family all over the country. We are registered Maine Coon Breeders with The International Cat Association (TICA). We are a small, loving Cattery in Idaho where all of our Maine Coon cats are pets first. Our Maine Coon cats and kittens all have European bloodlines with a wild lynx look, but they have very gentle temperaments. We aim to produce strong muzzles, large thick lynx tip ears, long and bushy tails, but most importantly, healthy Maine Coon cats. We only breed from Maine Coon cats that are N/N negative for all health conditions, have had a clear echocardiogram, and normal hip X-rays. |

They average around 19-40 inches in length from nose to tail. Males average between 15-25 pounds and females 10-15 pounds. Maine Coons historically were bred for hunting skills, but have turned more into amazing lap cats. This great temperament is what we aim to achieve with each litter.
